Imagine being homeless and having nowhere to go. No family, no friends. Just another dreary day on the street. Scared, lost, confused, and faced with uncertainty. Then you realize there is somewhere you can go. A place where you’ll be welcomed like family. Treated with Care and Respect. Served a hearty meal, a hot shower, and a safe place to stay.

The Providence Rescue Mission has been operating for 25 years and is open 24/7, giving the homeless a safe shelter to stay in. We have learned to make the most of our resources and the donations we receive from the people who believe in the ministry, serving Christ, the Homeless, and the Poor of our Community.

We must remember that Jesus didn’t just talk about love; by his examples, he taught and showed us what it means to love. We are working hard to show that same compassion for the people of Providence.
